Suriati assisted in the development of the Hanyut (season 1), TV programme. She also continued to coordinate family programmes for the community and assisted in the review of the marriage preparation course.
- Former Head of Family Development Department, Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS), 1997 – 2004, where she helped developed the then Belaian Kasih Marriage Preparation Course. Suriati was also responsible for the development and promotion of the then TAQWA Family Values for the community and implementation of the then Family Development Centres in selected mosques, amogst other tasks.
